The summer solstice marks the halfway point of 2024, and what an incredible 6 months it has been for us… our feet haven’t touched the ground!!
We’re still pinching ourselves and dancing with absolute joy – we set out to distil a gin that we love and to have that gin recognised as a global winner in the gin Oscars is just amazing. Here’s what the judges had to say:
“No.6 Soulmate Classic London Dry Gin has been awarded as a Winner in the Traditional Gin category of The Gin Guide Awards 2024. The Judges were impressed by the appealing juniper and citrus aromas, the smooth mouthfeel, the balanced palate, and the classic flavour profile.
Individual Judge’s comments included describing No.6 Soulmate Classic London Dry as being ‘complex, integrated, balanced and clean, with attractive expressiveness’ and an ‘excellent example of a Traditional Gin‘ with ‘depth from aromatic and spice notes’, supporting the gin’s score being in the ‘Exceptional’ score range.” – The Gin Guide Awards 2024
Thank you for all your support and encouragement, for joining the ginvolution and for sharing the gin love. We raise a glass to you all!
Back to business and June became a month of G&Tee’s! No, that’s not a typo… it’s that other 4 letter word – GOLF! We had the utter privilege of supporting the Red Eagle Foundation Charity Golf Day at the Cave Hotel & Golf Resort in Kent. Our Say It With Gin stand was up and running bright and early on the first tee for the shotgun start and as the golfers moved through the morning we were there to refresh with our wonderful No.6 Soulmate gin and tonic. G&Tee off proved very popular, allegedly it improves one’s swing?! We also supported this wonderful charity by donating a beautiful hand painted bottle with the Arsenal shirt of Alan Smith, who was playing on the day and happily signed the bottle. This went into the charity auction later that day, ‘making the world a better place one gin at a time’. We are also delighted to be working closely with another couple of wonderful prestigious golf clubs, Tandridge in Surrey and Littlestone in Kent.
We were at two new Farmers Markets this month, namely Lamberhurst and West Malling, and had the delight of meeting lots of lovely people and growing the ginvolution. Thank you to both markets for welcoming and supporting us, we look forward to returning next month.
July looks set to be buzzing with promise. Whatever you have planned I hope it’s a great month for you, happy holidays to those of you who are planning a break, we will still be here to keep the gin flowing! Thank you again for your support and encouragement, it means the world to us.
