Summer of Soulmate!

If you are reading this then we really hope you have loved discovering our No.6 Soulmate Classic London Dry Gin; whether as a gift for someone special or from someone special, or maybe it was a gift for yourself. Since starting out we have met some incredible, inspiring and fab people… we have enjoyed an amazing summer as more wonderful people have joined our ginvolution.

We pitched our first trade stand at TractorFest in Biddenden and spent a fabulous two days learning the ropes; how to manage when the wi-fi doesn’t work in the middle of a field, or how to keep our gin & tonic at the perfect temperature for tasting in the blazing heat, and how to make sure we could entertain the children for a brief period of time while Mum and Dad enjoyed a quiet moment savouring the ginabulous No.6 Soulmate! We laughed a lot and learnt a lot!  It was a long two days and our feet ached on Sunday evening when we got home but how proud did we feel when tallying up the bottles we sold and the great conversations we had with so many wonderful people. And possibly most excitingly of all was the tremendous feedback we received. So a massive thank you to the other lovely traders who helped us and a massive thank you to everyone who popped in to say hello and who supported our small business… we will be signing up for next year!

Following on from this success we attended our first local Farmers Market in Bearsted, and spent a sunny Sunday morning meeting lots of gin enthusiasts, growing the No.6 Soulmate community… and we were thrilled to convert a couple of non-gin drinkers too! We are looking forward to our foray into the wonderful world of Farmers Markets in Kent, so please keep a lookout for us.

Thank you to everyone who has helped point us in the right direction, made an introduction and to everyone who has brought a bottle. We have certainly enjoyed an incredible summer and had many occasions to perfect our Happy Dance!

With thanks and much love
